EPISODE SUMMARY: On Spartacus Gods of the Arena Episode 3, just as his fortunes are on the rise, his future clear before him, Batiatus is stunned by the return of his father which puts his attempts to gain rank by exploiting those above his class at risk.
So you better mark your calendar and do not forget to Watch Spartacus Gods of the Arena Episode 3 to witness a new fascinating event of blood, sex, drama and violence.
Previously on Spartacus Gods of the Arena Episode 2, Batiatus conjures up a devious plan and enlists Lucretia, Gaia and a clutch of gladiator recruits to see it through. Oenomaus longs to reclaim the top gladiator rank, but new challenges cross his path.
More on Spartacus Gods of the Arena Episode 2: Batiatus is human in his constant stream of successes and failures, and his scheming never comes to an end. All overtly political societies are rife with such activity, and this definitely has that classic Roman flavour. This is also the backstory for the gladiators, so it was interesting to see the details of how Ashur becomes one of the Brotherhood, how Oenumaus became the doctore and slow rise of Crixus, given how his character arc in “Blood and Sand” progressed, and Gaia’s influence on later events.
On Spartacus Gods of the Arena, we will be seeing that once young Batiatus finally gets the control of his father’s gladiator school, he immediately begins to plot to make a profitable business out of his ludus. In order to succeed, he puts his most skilled fighter into good use to gain the favour of a rich and cunning nobleman who can help fund the building of a new arena.
Spartacus: Gods of The Arena is a new TV series that serves as the prelude to the famed TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. These days, Starz TV Network continues to launch its second wave of campaign with a new teaser and its first poster featuring the chosen action star Dustin Clare. Dustin Clare, like the actor of the previous franchise Andy Whitfield (Gabriel), was also a little known actor before starring in TV shows like McCleod’s Daughters.
The series is set before the time of Spartacus’ arrival. Gannicus was the first gladiator to have brought the initial fledgling fame and glory that the House of Batiatus would soon expand in the era of Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Previous actors will also reprise their roles. John Hannah (The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, The Mummy 3) returns as Quintus Batiatus along with his wife Lucretia, still played by Lucy Lawless (Xena the Warrior Princess). Peter Mensah (300, Hidalgo, Tears of the Sun) will reprise his role as Oenomaus, a gladiator who will then be known as Doctore the trainer. Manu Bennet will also reprise his role as the young gladiator Crixus, who would then become the champion and rival of Spartacus. This new TV show will also feature new faces like Melitta, a slave who’s heartfelt decision becomes a pivotal twist for the series. She will be played by Marisa Ramirez (Miami Medical). Jaime Murray (Dexter, Warehouse 13) will play as Gaia, the sexy social climber of Capua.
Spartacus Gods of the Arena Episode 3 is a nice episode to watch. I am sure that the time you start watching this show, you will get addicted to it. This is just an amazing TV show.
